Passion.

Layana ran face first into Devon’s chest and dropped all of her things.
“I am so sorry,” they said in unison, and both kneeling to pick up her things.
“There is not enough room in these hallways for all of us,” Devon chuckled, coming across one of Layana’s doodles, “nice owl.”
Blushing, Layana thanked him and stood to grab what he had gathered. She looked up at his face and immediately dodge his eyes, unfortunately letting slip and loud, “woah.”
“Woah, what?” He asked, with a knowing grin.
“Uhm, you just happen to have uhm..” Layana blushed deeper than before.
“An astounding amount of good looks? Yeah, I did manage to grab those from grandad. But hey, you’re not doing so shabby in the gene department either.” Devon pointed this out and grinned at Layana’s cherry face. “Devon, Devon Green.” He stuck out a hand.
“Layana Shirley,” she reciprocated the gesture but found herself being pulled into an embrace and kissed with a tenderness that she had never experienced before. Her knees went wobbly.
“Was that too forward?” Devon asked, a little surprised by his own actions.
“Way too forward, I have to go.” Layana replied, and zoomed down the hallway. When she reached her destination she sat bewildered at what just happened. She touched her lips. That was definitely the best kiss she’s ever experienced and it was by an out of line stranger.
She kind of wanted it to happen again..
